This decision follows a Twitter poll conducted by WordPress.org, in which 81.2% of respondents voted against making the checkbox mandatory. Additionally, 58.3% of respondents declared that pineapple on pizza is not delicious. WP Gives A Hand, a charitable initiative within the WordPress community, uniting businesses to donate a portion of their revenue to support various nonprofit organizations, has turned five. The businesses choose whichever charity they would like to donate to. Over the past five years, 29 companies have collectively raised more than $52,000, benefiting 19 different charitable organizations.
